XB2003 MK Fortrex or Ultrex

Has anyone installed a Minn Kota Fortrex or Ultrex on an XB2003? I really want an Ultrex with spot lock, but they stow so high I'm afraid I couldn't even see to the left while driving lol. Any pics would be awesome. Google images has failed me.

Fortrex and Ultrex have the same profile...if your gonna be blind, you might as well be blind with the Ultrex and spot lock. I love mine, but it's on a xb21.

I have XB2003 with a Foretrex. It is large but I can see fine.

Just bit the bullet and bought an Ultrex. Now I have to replace my comfortroll tray, it's too narrow and curves at the rear. As soon as I can get that squared away I guess I'll see how many mph I loose because of the heavy momma.

I had a motorguide xi5 on my xb03,had to build a plate from 1/2" alum stock,to mount it far enuff fwd. to deploy,it died so just put a new x5 80 MG on it,alot lower profile than a fortrex

So far my boat is running the same speed with the heavier 112 Ultrex as it did with the 112 Fortrex. The weight of the Ultrex seems to have settled the bow some.

It doesn't impeed your view. It works like a champ. And it's the best addition to my boat ever.
