So I sold my Allison recently and I’m looking to get something else. The XR2001RR interest me but I don’t know much about them.

Were all XR2001 all composite or did the early ones have some wood in them?

Any idea on production numbers? Is the river race model harder to find then the drag model?

How do these handle waves compared to an SS or XB2002? Could the XR handle river cruising with mild boat traffic?

Also, if you have an XR2001RR that you’re looking to sell, I may be interested. Also interested in other Allison’s if someone is looking to sell like an XB2002 or GS.

There is a nice looking 1997 XR Drag for sale on Scream and Fly under hulls up to 20'. I believe he wants 17k for it, he is in Canada.

The guy on SnF has owned both an SS2000 and the drag that is for sale. You could ask him to compare the two. My expectation is that the greater weight would make the SS2000 less quick but better in chop. But I have never been in an XR2001.

You could get the owner to take the boat to the border and then get Frank Mole to drag it to Iowa
