Xtb-21 + etec 250ho = ???

I've got a 200 EFI Merc on her now, other than the 250XS which is ridiculously expensive here in Australia my only other option is the ETEC.

I'm unsure if it's ever been done, even with the newer XB models???

For a "regular" basser, the 250HO IMO is the fastest 250 out there....on an Allison it probably would be if it werent for the lower-unit limfac. Something will have to be done to run it "properly" on an Allison.

Either cone/lwp it or fit a Sportmaster on it.....then if itwas cheaper beforehand that would factor in the cost and negate any savings. C&O had an XB21 2+2 with a 250HO ETEC. Not sure if they ever dialed it in or not. They sold it to a member here (without motor). For what its worth, I think the 250HO/XTB-21 would make a fantastic fast, effecient combo if the lower could be coned.
