No but my brother own's a OB shop and said they blow up a lot.

There ya go....DON'T buy one....LOL
They are a SOLID, reliable and STRONG motor. Pick your color, they are all good and they will ALL blow.

A friend of mine is a mechanic at a dealer that handles Merc and Yamaha. The big block HPDI Yamaha's come in blown up 40 to 1 over Mercury's Optimax. Yamaha just came out with the series 2 HPDI that is supposed to solve this, but only time will tell.
