Just put in a tuner and a Mod-vp mid, Can I run washers and leave the poppet in?

I run washers and a poppet on the two peice adapter.

The t-stats plugged with crap to much running in the shallow lake and river I do.

With the stats I was always taking everything apart cleaning crap out.

I have to do it alot less with the washers it will let more crap pass through the motor.

The one piece pm plate only came on a 15" mid. It also had its own tuner. It looks like a smaller 280 tuner. I have a pic somewhere. They will restrict a high reving motor. I had a friend that had one with a wild 260 on it. It wouldn't turn up, til he replaced the plate, and tuner. I would run t-stats and a poppet on a steal sleeve motor if all possible. JMO
