I know the question seems to have been done to death, but i'm still on the fence about which motor for a fishin boat.
I have some friends with 280's on their lake boats but they don't fish. Anyways they don't seem to have any issues with their motors when we are running around on the river.
Which one makes a better fishing motor? I suppose the 280??
I think i have seen it where people have 280's with 260 electrics? Or is it the other way around?
I haven't looked into this in a while and i'm about ready to buy a powerhead so I thought I would look into it again.
Also why are the 280 powerheads so much more, or so it seems than the 260's i see. It seems that there is a MAJOR price difference in the ones i see advertised from time to time??
What benefit do you get for the price difference besides 20hp??
Thanks!
