Matt I might be able to help you out. We can talk tomorrow. I have done a ton of them. Just need to find someone close to do the finish hone. I can get the sleeves from jeff at Advanced. I think I have a plated 280 sleeve but don't know if I have a plated Drag. Eyebrow motor?

Brendan does excellent work, but he doesn't do much block/sleeve type work for the general public...mostly due to volume of "in-house" work he has, as well as all the other machine work he does.

Brendan is the best there is, but he doesn't do repair work.
The first year was 95, 260 based, then came the "300" as we know it today, 2001 got the eyebrow and SVS along with the o ring heads

Rob, buddy bought a new in the merc crate 2005 drag powerhead, came with a horn and what looks to be O ring style heads. (looks like the 280 heads). Was the horn still an option? How do you determine if a drag is an eyebrow? He has two other drags on a DCB right around the 2001 year, both have horns. Happy Holidays to ya.

OK, mystery solved. He went and checked. Turns out it is a 1 26 01 Block with an A6. Maybe the guy he bought it from bought it new in 2005 or something who knows.
