I had one when I ran a 2003/225X. It ran pretty good once it hooked up, but it didn't carry the bow very well until you got the boat rolling about 70 MPH or so. Could be a fun play prop.....but not a fishing prop.
I have a 28p Bullet Cut Performer 4 that I run. It's a really good prop, the holeshot is better than every other overhub prop that I have tested. I have run it up to 91 mph on my XB21 2+2 w/250XS (1.62 gears). Its a keeper, but I do like my XOBs a little better. I picked up a 30p Bullet Cut Performer 3 this spring, but have not had a chance to try it yet. It might be too stiff for me to turn and it might not have enough blade area for my big Ally, but only time will tell. I will post again after I give the 3-blade a try.
I ran a 32 Bullet Cut Performer 4 on my XB21 BasSport Pro yesterday afternoon and this morning. The water sucked and the wind was a but much but it still turned out 99.8 @ 5640.
Id really like to find a 31 to get the rpm up around 5850ish.
I ran a 28 bullet cut chopper on my 02 for a while. I really liked it. Had a ton of lift, pulled good mph.
Great when I had a passenger and a load. I sold it to a friend that has an 02, and he is 315 lbs. He has ran it for 4 years,
Great for lift..
14.5, and had plenty of cup. It carried great, a handful top end for an 02. Better on an 03. They run great loaded and a passenger. Solo they aren't for top end. I ran my 28 on my drag too. Had to wheel it a little bit, but went 123. Not the ideal prop, but we had a long cruise. Low slip, and great mph in the 70-80.
