I never thought that would happen. I remember the when Dodge first went with the then radical 'big truck' styling in 2004/2005. They said it was not a gamble as their market share was minimal either way. Not now.
What's up with Toyota and Nissan. Are their trucks inferior? They sure don't sell.
Toyota seems to be selling a whole lot of the Tacomas right now. I went to an Open house/Plant tour of the huge/beautiful/spotless Toyota Westlake facility here and they were processing all the Tacomas they could do. The Tundras just need to be updated and get better gas mileage.
Interesting. Was a chevy guy and now on my 4th dodge, no regrets. The Ram 1500 with rear coil springs is by far the smoothest ride but it does give up some load capacity and is a little sloppier towing heavier loads. ie more body roll
