What liter is a 1986 or 87 150 blackmax?

Most were 2.0L. They made some 2.4L 150 but I can't remember the years. If you look at the heads, it will say 3 1/8 or 3 3/8. Casted on the head. Merc mad a few different combos for the 150-175-200. 2.4
A 150 block and a vertical front= 150
A 200 block with a vertical front= 175
a 200 block with a vertical front = 200 only 1 year
a 200 block with a horizontal front = 200
1981-82 with a 7 pedal front = 225
oil injectted was around 1984.
There was a couple of years merc mad a 2.4 with the head bolt holes in the cylinder sleeves. The head bolt pattern is different. Stay away from them. I think they were rated 175 hp, and the exhaust is cut n them. Just tricky with the heads.
