Sorry Guys for not thanking all the responces. I've been out of town. But I like Kevin from FL's pics. That's good stuff. I had the feeling we'd all have different opinions on the subject. My XB02 is luggin the 480lb 200XS and although I know our Ally transoms are tough I just want to protect my investment for the long haul. You know what I mean (last of the last).

Thanks Allot Guys,

Norm

I like Kevin's idea too but my 280 doesn't have the rams to hold the PVC pipe. Since I had the Swivel-Eze unit I originally bought for the 150 HP motor, I modified the length, width and angle along with adding a cross bar brace for added strength to handle the weight of the 280. Lots of work but the piece works well and gives me peace of mind when driving long distances like to the Rally in Tennessee.. When's the next one again????
