New (to me) Allison

Hey Guys:

Well I have been looking for a while and decided it was time to do it.

A gentleman from Michigan purchased my XB03 and 225X.

The last time I was at Lee Sanderson's in Virginia I was drooling over a white and black 2005 SS2000 with a 225X SS on it. I never thought I would be lucky or fortunate enough to own the boat, but I am!

I just got the boat home yesterday, and can't wait to run it!

Robbie balanced and blueprinted a Drag IV for the boat. Anyone have first hand knowledge of how they run?

About 10 mph slower than an XB2003 with a 280 and most any prop..........................:big grin

It is very sharp looking but I've always liked white boats with black accents. I'm sure it'll go faster than I care to go in it right now.................had enough of :help.... to last me for a while. Stay safe son, that's the most important part of it.

Thanks Roy, my leg still has a fairly large hemotoma but it could have been A LOT worse. I know I'm not interested in ever having it happen again.

That is such a cool motor too. I haven't seen very many 225x SS's! Probably the ultimate small-block, turn-key, gas and drive HP motor ever!
