How did it run with that 2.5XS? Merc never gave that motor a fairshake with that 3.0 mid and by the time folks realized they were good motors Merc had already pulled the plug on them.

I got her to 87.9 solo with all my fishing tackle and a tank of gas in the middle of the day last August!! Im pretty confident that I could maybe squeeze 90 out of her light loaded on a cool morning!! Ive had the motor since 07 and have not had one issue with it!! Great on fuel!! Burns half the gas my on 200 carb did!!!

That 200 carb is still impressing some guys up here in SD, ALWAYS puts a smile on my face!
