You would want to run a relay in between, but other than that I think its OK

That is the best fix unless you want to buy an ACU like I did. The ECU/ECM pump drivers on the Promaxs have about a 100% failure rate.

Send your ECU to Dennis Hoffman and do it right. Shoot me a PM if you want his contact info. He sold me one with a custom fuel curve and raised limiter for a lot less than I could find one anywhere else, and he could fix yours for even less than that.
