Shifting Gears

225 optimax. Its not fully shifting into reverse 100% of the time. At first launch it does it the most. If I make a run down river and back to ramp it starts working fine. Kinda weird. Usually these kinds of things either work or not! Basically it will go in forward fine but grinds and will not go in reverse at all until ran a lil in forward! Suggestions?!?

Might check your linkage, see if it is needing adjustment.

Thank God eh!!:big grin I had that with my throtle. I wasnt making rpm up top. I was Oh no now what!! Did a link and sink and there we go.

Its always nice when the problem is so simple. I seem to find that in most cases most problems are of the simple fix veriaty. Always the best place to start and cheepest!!
