Your exactly right there man. It is all trial and error. Find what works and try some more. When you get it right aint nothing better than an Allison.

John next year at the WAR09 if I haven't broken them, I have two 24" JC' props you can try if you'd like. I had him make them for my OMCease so maybe you could turn them? :razz

when i race im at 1800 on the river or lake im heavier then that so far the yamaha props work best on my setup

Just out of curiosity has anyone on this thread done much testing with a lab'd cleaver? How were your results compared to the round ears?

one of the fastest 2002's I've ever seen was the first red boat Jerry Ridenour had and I believe he ran cleavers for top end stuff... not the best handling but fast...

I was thinking the same thing Joe. I ran Buddy Camp's boat with a 32 lab'd cleaver and it was an outstanding prop. It was 4-6mph faster than any other he had tested (choppers, srx, etc.).

I'm getting in here a little late as usual, but as I understand it the question was what is the fastest prop for an XB2002 comp hull, very easy the SOB is laying out in the garage somewhere I think under the last pile of hunting clothes I wore Jan. the 1st, John remind me to wash those before Sept.
