What happened to Kingston?

I look forward to 4th of July in Kingston, TN every year. This year the event organizers totally ruined the event! I couldn't hear the boats over the band. No one was calling the races. The water police took a rest in the middle of a class. And, They parked the boats a mile away from the event instead of having them in the road like normal. It was lame! I went to see a boat race! The Kingston Parks and Recreactions services screwed that up royally.

yep kingston, music right where your at to listen to drag boats not loud music, could barely say hi to darris and nancy for the band no pa system, 2 mile walk to pits, it was the pits!

I think the politicians wanted the area to hand out fliers. I left after the second break and the silly raft race.
