Looking for something for good all around performance with the 225x. Not worried about hitting a 100 mph.

How much different is the 225x from a 225 pro max? I have no experience with a 225x but a 28p Hydromotive QIV O/T is my favorite on my stock limiter (6750) 225 pro max. Great holeshot, low planing speed, good acceleration, decent top end (94) and it drives like a slot car.

A cut chopper hands down, but they are all not the same......... A ET cut. Chopper can be great too. ET is good all around. Yammi drag accelerate hard, but not going to run as big of numbers.

Cheapest/best is a small ear chopper stock form will run awesome......
I ran 114 with a small ear with a touch of cup added, still had weed cutters, but I removed them later.. Leave the weed cutters, adds some strength.
They do crack, but they are cheap.

I have ran to many to even keep track anymore.......

Hoss Hyperdrive ---- stands up to hard use ( thicker blades than Triton ) very good top end.

Drag 3 ---- very good acceleration and top end with light load.

Hydromotive Quad 4 O/T 28" ----- good all around prop, easy driving, and good with a load rigged for fishing.

My 225 X has the limiter raised to 7300. I wont get the 2002 for a couple weeks yet.

Are you rinnng 1.87 gears???? If so it will take a 30 to Hit a 100 or a stiff 28,
Or a 29. I would have a 28 for fishing, and a 30 for top end, and have both of them sitting right at the limiter.....:)

24p Billy Eaves ET cut large blade chopper, quick from start to finish. Not much torque, handles great ,lifts the boat just right and drives straight and balanced.

Well my drag cracked today, so I have to find a new favorite prop. It's going to be between a 24-25p Hoss or et.

It's a 24p and this is the second time it cracked in the same spot. Crack is about mid way of the blade about an 1/2" long off the leading egde. Really sucks because this was B&B prop that ran great.

SRX props do run good.... I have a couple, but just ran a little. Amazing how they carry the bow. The stock one I ran had a lot of prop slip, but I could see it being tweaked, made better.. Hoss has always been good props' and some fo the older ones were just unreal...... Tim has a new prop that he says is awesome. Tim doesn't talk BS, so I'm sure it is awesome.. I have a older 26 that is so nice I don't run it, it looks brand new. With a new hub....

26P Lighting ET with some engine height to help it out of the hole maybe 1 1/2" above, you'll hit the limiter quick if you have one if not should turn close to 8000 and get there quick, The ET has enough lift even running it high to really fly the XB02 with the 225hp.
