Sure are alot of you running 98 and 99 must be hard to hit that 100 mark.
Actually, it's really easy. You just round up the number to 100 to anybody other than those of us here on this website!@!@ 8)

same motor, jackplate, lu. It has a little more with that prop but I'm pretty sure it isn't the right prop for that boat.

32" Mercury Lab Cleaver with +2 degrees of rake on a SS2000 Excel with 280. Motor had Sportmaster with ground skeg mods and an unlimited box. I ran it 118.5 at just under 8000 RPM. That was the fastest prop on every Allison i ran. It ran 102 on my Dad's GrandSport with the 225 ProMax and ran 106 on my SS2000 with 225 ProMax. Awesome prop.

30 pitch Inline Chopper thinned and blueprinted by DAH, 97mph on my Grand Sport stock 96 225PM at the time. Unreal prop till it cracked. Still have that one hanging on the wall.

Always like the inlines!!!!! I have a bunch of them. I ran 114 with a stock 26 with the weed cutters hacked off last year on the xb 2002. I cracked it too.
I have a nice ally cut 30 somewhere..

There Such a beautifully prop when one of the masters works them like Jeff Janaky. Hear it is with the cracked blade and dusty, you can see the split.:very sad

I've had good experiences with two inlines. It's funny, the guys on Fastboats Canada think I'm stupid for running small ear choppers, and here there are like minded people. Go figure.

Sam -

I remember a spring day back in 1998 or 1999. I showed up at your shop (was going to school in Chicago at the time) and you gave me a ride in your red SS2000/225 Promax. You put that Cleaver on as I was standing there and said it was your "fast prop". Five minutes later, we were running 100 MPH. I couldn't believe it - two guys in the boat and a little 225 Promax.

I always ran a 14 1/2 X 28 Merc Cleaver on my Allison Grandsport/2.5 EFI 260. It would pull my gaffrig to 102 MPH or so and would still run 90+ MPH with four guys and a cooler of beer. Randy Pierson took this prop and ran his XR2002 to 125+ MPH one summer. I think it was at LenFest????

I now run 15 X 32 Merc Cleavers on my Spectre with twin 300XS's. Cleavers Rock!!!!!!

Mike what was the hole shot like with the cleaver? Slip and then grab?
My buddy has a brand new cleaver and I was going to help him sell it but if I can put a large hub in it I may run it.

Do the cleavers run smaller (pitch) in comparison to round blades?
