This was posted by Lee Sanderson last night on another site:

Just for everyone's information. The 20' XB-2003 ProSport along with all other 20 and 21' boats listed on their web site are still available. Darris thought about discontinuing some models due to the new fuel tank regulations but decided to keep all of them in production at this time.

Prayers have been answered!!!!!

Excellent news! And a great move IMO. Now, some tweaks to the XB2002 and promote its outstanding performance and economy with sub 200hp and go head to head with the 18 ft class boats.

That is good news! I think they need a few more boats in their lineup before they drop any (hint hint: 23 footer).

a 20 2+2 with a smaller back deck and the stability pods would be cool I would consider downsizing for it.

Thought they stuck a fork in the XB2003 way before the EPA crap started?? I guess if the molds are still around and you have enough Dead Presidents......

Has anyone ever rigged an 02 with a new 175xs? I wonder how that would run out?
I imagine a 175 would be pretty close to a 200 ETEC (2.6L). Back in 2009 a new XB2002 "FassBass" was tested with the 200 ETEC rigged with a lwp 1.71 ratio lower unit from a 250HO. It ran right at 90 mph and had a best cruise of near 10 mpg. Boat was empty sans a splash of fuel. No troller if I remember right.

It does not appear that $36000 gets you a gas tank either.

Must be another one of the "liability" things.....................lol............maybe it can't be done right so the customer will assume the liability for the installation.

I can't image Mr. Allison letting one out of the factory without the fuel system in place.
What motor choices would you have anyway other than a 175... pretty soon there will be no 2 strokes to choose from the way things are going.
