Ok some updates from last night. Put the motor on to line up holes on transom plate we made, plus drill the transom. A lot of motor on motor off when getting the measurements. That went well and the transom was done so we were happy... only short lived though. When we roughed the trim bracket in the splashwell we discovered that it is not deep enough for the bracket by about an inch...ughhh With no other options it was down to carving out the bottom of splashwell to get the trim bracket to fit. Also now had to put that big *** hole in the transom and the plate for the trim ram bracket. So now with the drain plug from the wet well removed, we will have to drill the trim ram bracket to let the water from the well flow out. In the pics you can see the holes we had to make in the transom, as well as the wet well. You can also see the trim ram bracket held in place so you can see the fit. Holes got coated out with West System Epoxy resin, and any gaps with the micro balloons with resin. The trim bracket will be sealed all the way around with silicon. Hoe you got all that, also included a pic of lower unit freshly painted as well as one of the motor hanging, and the deck rubbed out. C ya.
