OK that's the way i am gonna do it first gears changed and a low water pic up, than we will see for an other prop.

Tell him Todd from Hydromotive says you need a 26pitch QIV OT Special.25pitch if you want more holeshot and less Top End.Good Luck and welcome to the insanity.

so finely i get an other lower unit from a Yamaha 225 with 1.86 gear
and they gone put a nose cone on it
what prop do you recommend me, than i can order the prop :razz

26 QIV OT Special and you will need to run it about 3/8" below pad loaded up and 1/4" below for solo flying or lighter loads.This is assuming your pad is stock.Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Than you can run higher but take it a 1/4" at a time.By the way your order was placed,need anything just let me know.

i made yesterday the first ride with the new prop and lower unit and i am very happy with it :big grin:big grin

The motor will run thru the water crooked without the tab and could possible cause issues.

Good looking LU, but Chad has a good point. I did run my 225 OMC for a while without a tab and it ran OK, but ended up putting a tab on it.

Have you run it yet? If so, how did she run?

it ran Ok but it was not very fast 67 mile till so far

were can i order a good weld on torque tab for my skeg

Most after-markets are typically "bolt-ons," but I am sure you could weld them. They are cheep and you can find them just about anywhere, but I don't know what is available to you in the "Netherlands."

Most nose cone manufactures will do the mod when they do the nose cone, but I suspect that you could call Bob's and see if they would sell and send you their tab?????
