Woo hoo thats what I'm talken about. If the water is good we could even "on our own" find a place for some 1320'. Rumor has it that you have a GPS that marks in feet. There is a new Venom on the west coast that I have been trying to get to come up. I would love to see one run in person.

Too many rules, just man up and run what you brung. If you lack squeez better luck next time. It's all in fun anyway. I will probably run my lake heads because I'm to cheep to buy gaskets. How are the ground wires comming along?

"Class 4 Open Class Comp and high hp boats"

John, once Jay beats you like a drum, put your high compression heads on.
Jay, "O" rings and silicon are cheep.

1,000' is going to get way up there in speed John. I'll watch.

Not sure weather to go with the braided and coiled silver or the clear insulated gold.
Aluminum is a very very poor conductor compaired to gold and silver.
High corrosion combined with electricity even more corrosion.

John I agree with Jay. There is probably only going to be 3 or 4 boats and since it's a open class and it's for time not head to head so what does it matter. The classes are just groupings of similar boats, not exact. If your boat times are as close to Lou as they have been in the past. You should be very satisfied with your setup. I know I would be. I've got the same problem in class 2 but I will be very happy if I can run within a half second of those guys and if I should happen to beat one of them I will be as happy as a male dog with 2 dicks.

John actually all the classes are close and in some ways it can be argued not completely fair. We have in class 1 a 175 going against 225's and class 2 a 250 going against possibly as much as 400 Hp. In class 3 a 225 going against 300's. So class 4 is no different. That's why getting a time is better than running side by side since you can see where you stand against the whole field. And as a group we are getting quicker.

Kevin the place were staying is about 20 mim. from Lakeport. There may be a Best Western at Lakeport. Have you considered staying out at the casino with us. There's not much difference in the price of rooms and then you can stay late have few beers with us and not worry about driving back to Lakeport. Are you coming with your wife or by yourself? Scott and Steve may be coming also. Let me know what your thinking as far as number of days and number of people. You would be welcome to join in with our group if you would like to.

I looked it up and the closest BW is in Clearlake. That is a the "other end " of the lake. By water, about18-20 miles. Have your buddy pay, that's the way:wink
